Dai Mon Yokocho 大門橫丁 – Hong Kong

My aunt, knowing my love for udon, took me to Dai Mon Yokocho to try their tomato soup udon.

I ordered the beef udon in tomato soup.. and it came with a half boiled egg! The udon was nice and chewy but there’s only a few pieces of beef.  The tomato soup was very tomato-y, kind of like the soup at Sing Heung Yuen, but I prefer my udon to be bathed in pork-bone soup!
