Cheesecake Factory – Las Vegas

Every time my family’s in Vegas, we would eat at the Cheesecake Factory in the Forum Shops, Caesar’s Palace.

I’m still  scared of Cheesecake Factory’s cheesecake because of my last visit, so this time, I didn’t order any cheesecake!

Lunch Pasta!

I forgot what pasta this was but it was really good.. I think it’s a Vegas special.. crispy chicken breast with a creamy pasta sauce.

The Buffet @ Wynn – Las Vegas

The only buffet we had on this trip was the dinner buffet at Wynn. I’m not a big fan of  buffets cause I’m on a DIET!!

The interior design gives off this garden-party atmosphere.. kind of like the Bellagio.

I’m Asian.. so of course I stacked up on the Alaskan king crab legs (gotta get my money’s worth)!! You can even ask them to grill it for you!

But the best part of the buffet is the dessert! Cupcakes, crème brulée, cookies, puddings, cakes, gelato, caramel apple, chocolate coated marshmellow and a crêpe station!

In-N-Out Burger – Las Vegas

I’ve been MIA due to finals and then a post-exam trip to Bali but I’m back to blogging now!

I wanted to try In-N-Out Burger when I was in San Diego last December but didn’t have a chance to…I was determined to try it this time in Vegas!

Success! Found one while driving around looking for the only See’s Candies shop in the vegas area!

In-N-Out is famous because its burger beef patty is pure beef (free of additives, fillers and preservatives), the lettuce is hand-leafed and the fries are cut in the store.  The only standout of this burger is the freshness but I can’t really taste the difference.

Yofresco Frozen Yogurt – Las Vegas

We were walking around Fashion Show Mall and I saw a frozen yogurt shop!!!

I tried all the flavours before picking and they were quite generous with the tasting portions.

I picked: eurotart, cheesecake, coconut, strawberry.  The yogurt wasn’t too creamy nor icy. The eurotart was slightly more sour than normal and the coconut was too sweet. I usually like my fro-yo flavours to be plain (eurotart and taro) because other flavours taste too artificial.  But!!! the cheesecake fro-yo was so good! It tasted like cheesecake omg!

Joyful House Chinese Cuisine – Las Vegas

Joyful House Chinese Cuisine is dad’s greatest Chinese restaurant find in Vegas cause the food here tastes somewhat like the food in Vancouver restaurants.

As usual, Joyful House became this trip’s to-go-to restaurant for dinner.

clockwise from top corner: free daily soup, eggplant & pork in claypot, sauteed spinach, sweet & sour pork

This was what we ate the first night.  Nothing really to comment except the food had the right flavour and was a tad too oily.

Sam Woo BBQ Restaurant 三和 – Las Vegas

We flew down to Las Vegas for a post-Easter getaway!

Vegas is known for gambling and hotel buffets.. but dad likes to go to Chinatown to eat!

After checking in to our hotel, we drove to Chinatown for lunch at Sam Woo BBQ.  We eat at Sam Woo every time we’re in LA or Vegas cause dad needs his dose of Chinese food.  This time, we ordered beef chow-mein and fish congee but it tasted mediocre and was expensive ($20) for Chinese fast-food standard.

Faim? non non!
