We stayed at Rimping Village Hotel, which was relatively close to the city centre and it had a free breakfast buffet.
They had the regular breakfast spread of breads/pastries, egg station and fruits.. but my favourite was the mango sticky rice….. the sweetest ripest mango…. so good!

my aunt has been wanting to take me to this famous dessert place..since last year! .. and we finally went last night! this shop is famous for their “non-traditional” chinese desserts..we got there around 9 and there were a lot of people waiting in line!
my aunt ordered the “rainbow pearl“.. which is fruits + grass jelly + sago
i didn’t like it cause of the grass jelly… but this is one of the more famous desserts there..
and i ordered the “SUMMER” … which is fruits + 2 scoops of ice-cream (you pick your own flavours) + 2 waffle rolls! i like! fresh fruits, delicious mango and cookies-n-creme icecream
good alternative to hui lau san cause it’s not as artificially sweet! and the fruits were very fresh!
