Epcot @ Disney World

Epcot (the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) is THE Disney Park for foodies!

There’s 2 parts of Epcot, Future World and World Showcase.  In World Showcase, there are 11 pavilions representing 11 countries: Italy, United Kingdom, Mexico, United States, Canada, Norway, Japan, China, Morocco, Germany and France.  Each pavilion has food (counter-service and sit-down restaurant) representing each country’s cuisine.  Basically, you can eat your way around the world at Epcot!

For lunch, we ate at Kingla Bakeri Og Kafe, the bakery at the Norway Pavilion.

Norwegian Club ( Ham, Turkey, Bacon and Jarlsberg and Muenster Cheese with fresh Tomatoes, Sliced Red Onion, and Lingonberry Mayonnaise on toasted Multigrain Bread)…… This was pretty good.  Love anything that has lingonberry!

School Bread (Sweet Cardamom Bun filled with Vanilla Crème Custard and topped with Glazed and Toasted Coconuts)… This was sold-out at first and I had to wait 30 mins for the next batch.  It was ok… not amazing because the bread was tough and dry.  I prefer the Chinese version of coconut buns.

For dinner, we ate at Katsura Grill (Japan Pavilion).

The building on the right is the Japanese Department Store Mitsukoshi! Never thought I would see it in Disney!

We ordered Tempura Udon, Chicken Cutlet Curry and Beef Terriyaki rice. This tasted authentic, was delicious and was our favourite meal at Disney! .. this was also the cheapest meal!

The Starbucks at Epcot uses cute Disney cups!
