The Square 翠玉軒 – Hong Kong

Being a food blogger allows me to “shamelessly” tag along to meals! My latest tag-along meal was to dimsum at a one-star Michelin restaurant, The Square 翠玉軒.

The Square belongs to the Maxim’s group.. but this is the swankiest of the entire restaurant chain!

We ordered:

baked green onion pastry…fragrant and flaky! my favourite dimsum!

deep fried spring rolls.. it was ok…

steamed pea tips…nothing special…

honey glazed pork topped with almonds…yumm! the pork was tender and the sauce was sweet; but the star of the dish were the almond flakes! I kept picking the almonds to eat!

lobster noodles… nothing special.. but there were a lot of lobster! yay!

We also ordered the Chiuchow dumplings.. but I’m not a big fan of this type of dumplings..

The dimsum is of a better quality than the regular Maxim dimsum but of course, it’s more expensive!

FAIM? OUI OUI!!
