Ganache Patisserie – Vancouver

just came back from a week back home and boy, i gained a couple pounds from all the good food i ate!

a dear family friend (and also avid reader of my blog!!) was sooooooooo nice + thoughtful … she bought me patisseries from Ganache to let me try!

the cake at the bottom right corner, really stood out! the Chocolat-Banane (dark chocolate mousse, caramelized bananas, praline crunch, hazelnut dacquoise).. i’m usually not found of bananas, but this time, the bananas + chocolate + hazelnut made quite a delicious trio.. and the praline crunch made the cake so unique!

the cake @ the top right corner, Matcha-Exotique (green tea mousse, mango-passionfruit gelée, lychees, black sesame biscuit joconde) was really good! after eating the chocolate cakes, the green tea mousse was very refreshing!

and the cake @ the bottom right corner, the Bleuets Amande (amaretto cheesecake, B.C. blueberry compote, almond biscotti base, amaretti cookies) was amazing.. i love cheesecake and haven’t had an almond one! but it was a tad too sweet!
