Windows Restaurant @ The Four Seasons – Macau

macau is a great getaway place.. delicious food, unique architecture (feels like i’m sort of in europe) and it’s only an hour ferry ride away! .. and four seasons macau has a spa indulgence package that includes spa and afternoon tea.. since i just blogged about afternoon tea @ the four seasons hong kong, i felt compelled to blog about the afternoon tea i had @ fs macau, since it’s kind of a disappointment..

the afternoon tea was presented in a contemporary 3-tiered stand.. and my first impression was “that’s it?!!!” the afternoon tea set for 2 had only 1 of each item…. and this wasn’t because it was included in the package (cause they charged my room and only credited us @ checkout)

the food quality was ok but didn’t use any top-notch ingredients..  i did like the unique presentations of the savouries.. but my mom didn’t like this non-traditional approach… and where did the sandwiches go???

we were not impressed at all with the afternoon tea but the club house sandwich which my grandma ordered was excellent!

had lots of filling.. especially bacon and overflowing sauce… restaurants tend to be quite stingy.. but this was not the case! and the fries were very crispy.. grandma says that this is the best club sandwich she ever had and this even beats the one @ Four Seasons Aviara golf club.. and i agree!

i would not recommend afternoon tea @ the windows (even though it is almost half the price for tea @ hk fs) but surely do try their a-la-carte items..

FAIM? OUI OUI!!
